5 natural cures for headaches

In today’s society medication and pain relief pills are pushed onto people to take for whatever symptoms they are experiencing. With the constant drug use, people build immunity to medication and so when they really need it, it’s not going to help and they’ll have to take higher drug dose than they would have initially needed. Any type of medication is hard on your body and may do damage to organs, so why not protect your body and treat your symptoms with natural cures/remedies? Here are some natural cures for headaches.

Probably the most common reason as to why people have headaches is because they are dehydrated. A headache is a warning sign, letting you know that something is wrong. Most people don’t drink enough water the way it is. Try drinking 4-6 glasses of water every day. This should ease most if not all of your headache problems.

There are also many teas out there that will ease the pain of headaches. Pretty much most herbal teas will do the trick. You could add juice from 3 slices of lemon into your cup of tea. The lemon gives immediate relief.

Boil a handful of rosemary in a liter of water and place it in a mug after it boils. Place a towel over your head and inhale the steam for as long as you can. Keep repeating this till the headache goes away.

Some foods even cause headaches and migraines. If any of these cause your headache, you should consider removing them from your daily diet or at least decrease the amount greatly. Foods like milk, butter, cheese and cream. Some other trigger foods may also include meat products, red wine, caffeine, and chocolate. You should also try to avoid foods with nitrites and sulfites in them. These dilate capillaries in the brain and increase blood flow which causes pain.

Another good thing for migraines is Ginger. It’s already proven that Ginger surpasses the Dramamine drug for nausea. Herbalists recommend 2 to 4 grams of ginger daily for migraines. It has been used for centuries in Asia to treat a number of aliments. You can also make ginger tea by simmering a couple slices of fresh ginger root in a cup of water for 15 minutes.

Natural Cures For Fibromyalgia Or Medication?

Article by Jodi Ouellette

Have you tried natural cures for fibromyalgia or are you relying on medical practices? If you are suffering with fibromyalgia, then it’s not necessary to explain to you how debilitating this condition is. My intent here is to expand upon why you need to take natural cures for fibromyalgia seriously.

Life without Natural Cures for Fibromyalgia

1. The thought of relying on medications to treat my fibromyalgia symptoms doesn’t sit well with me. Have you seen the television commercials promoting certain medications these days? We have to ask if it’s a smart trade off to reduce our fibromyalgia symptoms only to gain a few new side effects from the medications prescribed. The commercial always portrays a better life from using a particular drug, then it provides a lengthy list of side effects. They include: lightheadedness, blurry vision, weight gain, sleepiness, difficulty concentrating, swelling of hands and feet, dry mouth, and feeling high. The fact is, those are just the most common. Let us not forget you need to seek immediate medical attention should you encounter swelling of your face, mouth, lips, gums, tongue, or neck, trouble breathing, rash, hives, or blisters. Oh, and if that’s not enough, you should not drive a car, operate machinery or do anything that could be potentially hazardous. Then you learn that it could potentially worsen your depression, cause you to think about suicide, or alter your mood and behavior. With all of the possible side effects, shouldn’t we be asking what in the world are we putting into our body in the first place?

2. Often times choosing to get started with medications can cause a spiral effect. How many times have you witnessed a person who begins taking a particular medication, and before they know it, their list of meds multiplies. A patient may be prescribed one medication to treat their disease, followed by more prescriptions to counteract their side effect from the previous medication. Before you know it, you can’t remember what symptoms are related to your condition and what symptoms are results of the drugs you take. How do you determine the safety and efficacy of your medication? How much do you know about the long term ramifications of taking particular medications? Do you rely on your doctor to let you know that? Before answering those questions, reflect on how many times you have heard about drug recalls. Even worse, reading about cases where medications were prematurely given approval, although studies deemed them to be unsafe has also happened.

Why Choose Natural Cures For Fibromyalgia?

Deciding to take the route of natural cures for fibromyalgia is truly placing health above illness and disease. When you choose health, you are really choosing to restore a proper balance in the body. You are choosing to focus on prevention rather than treating symptoms. If you really think about it, the purpose of medications are not to cure, they simply provide symptom management. Since medications obviously won’t cure fibromyalgia, wouldn’t it seem more logical to pinpoint the reason for your pain and solve the problem, even though it might take some trial and error with natural solutions?

In researching natural cures for fibromyalgia, I encourage you to read information about the Blue Zones. If you’re not familiar, blue zone are places where the inhabitants are living longer and healthier lives than most of the worlds population. You’ll discover they are not living better because their medicine cabinet is filled with drugs. Another fact is that the people don’t live on processed or convenience foods. Most importantly, the disease, obesity, and illness rate is extremely low.

Why Do Natural Cures For Fibromyalgia Work?

Since there are still no conclusive studies available for the cause of fibromyalgia, you will always read conflicting information. Is it caused by inflammation or something else?. Is it related to a vitamin or mineral deficiency or is it related to something neurological?. I don’t know. All I know is that my fibromyalgia was absolutely linked to deficiency and lack. Furthermore, when I focused more on health and prevention, my symptoms disappeared. There are more recent studies linking an imbalance in the body with fibromyalgia symptoms, being the reason natural cures for fibromyalgia work.

Natural Cures for Fibromyalgia that Triggered My Recovery

1. Controlling inflammation naturally. Since inflammation can stimulate nerves and cause pain, it makes sense to include in your diet anything that will decrease inflammation, removing this as a cause for your pain..

2. Include antioxidants in your diet. Antioxidants in basic terms, helps to reduce the natural effects of oxidation in our bodies which leads to disease and premature aging. Oxidation damages our cells, giving disease an open door to flourish, not to mention advancing the age of our body more rapidly, so adding an antioxidant helps in your defense against this process. When you are choosing your souce for good antioxidants you’ll want to learn more about ORAC scores.

3. Get plenty of Omega 3′s. Your body needs essential fatty acids, but cannot make them, they must be consumed. Since most people are not eating a high amount of fish or nuts, adding a supplement is important. Omega 3 is beneficial for the prevention of various diseases such as heart disease, cancer, arthritis, and other inflammatory conditions. Omega 3′s are also associated with improved brain function and a natural mood enhancer.

4. Multivitamin. Choosing the right vitamins is essential to restoring the balance within the body, because you need to ensure you are absorbing what you need, and not absorbing what you don’t. Our modern diet is deficient of many vital vitamins and minerals essential to optimal performance, so supplementing is the foundation of natural cures for fibromyalgia.

5. Drink plenty of good quality water. Proper hydration is crucial to everyone. Studies have revealed that many chronic conditions could be solved if people were properly hydrated with pure water. The recommendation is to consume minimally 1/2 of your current weight in ounces daily. My regimen includes drinking ionized alkaline water, because it has added benefits such as better hydration, antioxidant properties and maintaining proper pH in the body.

Natural Cures for Fibromyalgia Requires Lifestyle Changes

Besides using supplementation as your natural cures for fibromyalgia, you should also eat better and get plenty of exercise. You cannot thrive on convenience foods or expect to get your nutrients through a drive through window. Adequate exercise isn’t for the purpose of vanity, it is an essential ingredient to being successful with improving your health. I truly believe we can transform people’s lives and reduce this condition by educating and teaching people about natural cures for fibromyalgia. This goes beyond theory personally. I am living proof and have been symptom free for almost 10 years!

This article is not intended to treat, diagnose, cure, or make any specific claims, it is simply an expression of my personal opinion and testimony.

While natural products are of great benefit to our ability to treat disease, they represent a mix of known and unknown compounds and are not subject to the same level of testing and regulation as pharmaceuticals. That creates a potential risk that might be avoided by isolation and purification of active components. A good case can be made about the accessibility and cost of those natural cures that have undergone rigorous testing, but the potential toxic effects should also be included in the analysis. Arthritis Homeopathic Remedies: Effective And Controvercial

Article by Meredith Walker

Homeopathic medicine is one of the most controversial forms of alternative medicine available today. Originally proposed by Samuel Hahnemann in the 18th century, it is based on the law of similars, which believes that a preparation that can cause certain symptoms in a healthy individual, can actually heal those symptoms in a diseased individual. These preparations are created through serial dilution, where the preparation is shaken, then diluted again several times to increase the effect of the solution.

From it’s very foundation, homeopathic medicine has believed that conventional medicine is wrong, and that its own approach is the correct approach to successful treatment of diseases. Because of this, those who practice homeopathic medicine often come to disagreements with medical professionals. This also means that conventional medicine is not used alongside homeopathic treatments.

Arthritis homeopathic remedies use the teachings and practices of homeopathy to treat arthritis. Solutions are prepared after diagnosing a patient, taking note not only of the patient’s symptoms, but also of his emotional state, and general physical health. This is because homeopathic medicine also tries to treat individuals holistically, which is believed to increase the effectiveness of the solutions used.

Because these homeopathic treatments are taken from homeopathic medicine, it is considered controversial in that, in general, those who prescribe arthritis homeopathic methods also recommend that the patient avoid using conventional medicines and drugs. Given that conventional medicine is based on scientific testing and proof, compared to homeopathic remedies that do not have enough scientific proof at all, this can mean a leap of faith for those who are determined to try homeopathic medicine.

In addition to the lack of scientific verification of the effectiveness of homeopathic treatments, and the fact that practitioners of homeopathic medicine advise against using conventional medicines completely, arthritis homeopathic remedies are also controversial in that even those who practice homeopathic medicine cannot sufficiently explain how the treatments work. While it can be argued that one does not need to explain how something works in order for it to be effective, this is a definite strike against arthritis homeopathic remedies.

The only thing that arthritis homeopathic remedies has going for them is that there are many testimonies that claim they have found a relief through the use of these remedies. While this may be explained away by the placebo effect, some people are convinced enough to try these remedies to ease their arthritic pain.

If you should seek to use arthritis homeopathic remedies, one of the most important things to remember is to find a trustworthy practitioner of homeopathic medicine. One clue is that a serious practitioner will take time to properly diagnose a patient, and not simply give a prescription for homeopathic medication without a proper diagnosis. In this manner, you can get the most effective arthritis homeopathic remedies available.

Using Arthritis Homeopathic Remedies may provide you with the effective treatment you have been looking for. Learn more about these homeopathic remedies and how they can help you deal with your arthritis by checking out ArthritisNaturalRemedies.com.

Healing Books-”our Energetic Evolution in Healing” Healed my Life

In my earlier videos I talked about how our sick house caused my husband’s death from cancer and my former neurological problems. In this Article #12 the question is:
Can you Tell me What’s in Your Energetic Healing Book That Can Change my Life?
I wrote my book as a recollection of my personal experiences, written so that some of the thoughts, ideas, processes, and therapies that helped me may be helpful to you in your search. When I could not find anything that would help me, I did my own research to figure out solutions. If I had not discovered these solutions, I am not sure what my state of health or life would be like today, if I would even be alive, or want to be.
Instead, I fought to regain my health and am now living in my favorite ski area in the world and am able to ski whenever I’m not working and am able to do whatever I choose!
Do you feel the same way about your life that I did? Have you found the solutions you desire? If not, then stay tuned! I do know that my survival also depended upon my strong spiritual foundation to hold onto for dear life and also spring from in my searches.
My book is divided into three parts. Part I is my own personal journey about my life-or-death search to uncover the mysterious cause of my illness and its connection to my husband’s death. It goes into how and why I got to where I am now, as well as what I learned along the way, including some of my many mistakes.

It is also a love story about how I believe my husband Don took the “hit” for me so I could continue my life and this work. It is also about my search for the reason for his cancer and death and my illness, so we could help others to not have to suffer from sick houses like we did.
Part II begins with my belief that we all have the God-given ability and right to be healthy and to heal ourselves. We are in the beginning of a major expansion of our consciousness that can trickle down to include using our own power to heal ourselves. Our Energetic Evolution must first begin in our thought patterns before it can manifest in our physical form. In Part II I introduce my Life Evolving Energetics System that teaches the body how to energetically cleanse and begin to evolve and heal itself automatically. The body inherently knows how to do this, if we just get out of its way!
I introduce what I call “Life Force Aphorisms” here as an initial and simple step to teach the body to cleanse, heal and evolve naturally.
Part II also goes into depth about testing methods, especially the Vega BioKinesiology testing system. You can use this system to better monitor your progress and determine what is best for your own body. You will also learn ways to shift your energy flow so that toxic unseen forces that you are not even aware of no longer enter your body.
It is not necessary to learn any testing procedures to be able to understand and utilize the information in this book. But if you do choose to learn how to do some testing, that’s great. There are many charts, figures, flowcharts and illustrations to guide you. In addition to what’s detailed in my other articles and videos, you will also learn how to test things such as:
How to EFFECTIVELY test different products to see for yourself which ones are working for you in your home, office and on your cell phone. You can also see the dramatic changes happening in your body from using one Energem in your home. These changes begin instantly!
Your key toxins: those toxins that may be blocking important metabolic functions in your body. Do you know what your key toxins are? They are not necessarily the most toxic substances in your body. You will also learn how to know they are being released from your body, once the geopathic stress in your home is neutralized.
O The best foods, water and supplements specifically for you.
O Your strong and weak organs and why they are weak.
O Your toxic metals.
O Your chakras.
O Your acupuncture meridian alarm points.
O Your emotional points and issues, so that you can resolve them.
O Your jaw and teeth points and their relationship to other parts of your body and how to figure out which is causing which. There are several very detailed charts for this.
O How to test for different types of interferences.
Part III delves into my cutting-edge research as well as others’ research into the effects on our body from electromagnetic, microwave, cell phone and geopathic stresses. It also introduces solutions to neutralize all of these life-threatening energies.
Dr. Roy Martina in his Foreword to my book mentioned “the Jungle of Alternative Medicine, where there are many possibilities but no guide.” My book can be that guide, teaching you how to take responsibility for and control of your own well-being and to test yourself and your family to learn how to become your own best guide.

Both my 400+ page hardcover book and e-book are available on my web site. I urge you to buy my book because you will learn secrets to regain and enhance your well-being; secrets that are not available anywhere else; secrets that you do not have to learn the hard way, like I did.
I eventually learned that my sometimes very painful experiences were also a gift to me. Part of that gift is to be able to turn these experiences into something useful – my gift to you – so that you can learn from my experiences.
In my next video, I will tell you about my theory on why you cannot get rid of your chronic infections.

Energetic Healing: Survivor Reveals Clues About Sick Houses

In my Intro Article #1, I talked about my husband’s cancer and subsequent death and my ending up mostly bedridden and in a wheel chair.
In this Article #2, I’ll teach you secrets about “Sick Houses” that I had to learn the hard way, so you don’t have to. The cause of sick houses is something you, like most Americans, have probably never heard of. It’s an invisible, hidden danger lurking in ALL homes that’s silently making us sick and slowly even killing us. Because it usually works slowly we don’t recognize what’s happening to initially cause minor symptoms that can develop into life threatening diseases.
My husband Don and I learned about “Sick Houses” the hard way. We not only lived in a sick house, but we built it! Our living-happily-ever-after in our dream home didn’t last long because I got sick soon after we moved in and I didn’t know why.
Twice a year we would go to Colorado to go skiing. I eventually realized that every time I was away from home I always felt much better. My feeling better when I was away was my first clue that something might be wrong in our home. Do you feel better when you’re away or even just outside?
Years later my seemingly very healthy husband was diagnosed with cancer. That made us much more suspicious that there was something wrong in our home. I was a natural health practitioner, so we both were on a good diet and had a good lifestyle; but now we were both getting sicker, despite doing really good therapies. That was my second clue.
For the next ten months, I watched Don continually get worse, suffer and then die. I then knew I had to figure out what killed him and was still making me sick.
I now needed help just to survive. From my research, I now knew there was a problem in our home and felt forced to move out and moved to Colorado. Before moving I was totally exhausted and had been mostly bedridden for a year. I had severe uncontrollable tremors, jerking and twitching spells. My legs were so weak I had to use wheelchairs when I traveled. I was even afraid I was getting Multiple Sclerosis, much less ever be able to ski again.
Two months after moving and using wheelchairs, I was out skiing. My improvement was that dramatic and I then knew I was going to be okay.
My getting so much stronger soon after moving confirmed what we had suspected – that our dream home did make us sick and did cause this nightmare. I was now driven and researched for years and figured out the cause and created a Solution to cure “sick houses.”
My discoveries made me healthier and healthier and gradually developed into a new energetic cleansing and healing system. I see people around me getting sicker and sicker, as I’m continually getting healthier & healthier – and you can too. The first and essential step is to remove this deadly block to healing and heal your sick house.
My next article goes into detail about the cause of Sick Houses. Or, if you’d like to see the entire series of free videos now to learn more about this mysterious and deadly health hazard, how it’s affecting your life, and how to change your life, then go to http://www.HealthSecretsVideoSeries.com for free access to all of my videos and an opportunity to ask me whatever questions you would like.

Types of Alternative Medicine Many Possibilities of Holistic Healing:Alternative Medicine:The terms ‘alternative medicine,’ ‘complementary medicine,’ or ‘unconventional medicine’ refer to diagnostic methods, treatments and therapies that appear not to conform to standard medical practice, or are not generally taught at accredited medical schools. The scope of alternative medicine is broad, with widespread use among the American public of a long list of treatments and practices, such as acupuncture, homeopathy, relaxation techniques, and herbal remedies. In an editorial about alternative practices in the New England Journal of Medicine, Murray and Rubel comment, ‘Many are well known, others are exotic and mysterious, and some are dangerous.’1 This report will help to clarify and categorize the alternative medical systems most often used, create a context to assess their utility (or lack thereof), and discuss how physicians and the medical profession might deal with the issues surrounding these unconventional measures in health and healing. At the turn of the last century, the effort led by the American Medical Association (AMA) to improve the quality of medical education and bring quality controls to curricula ultimately led to the landmark report by Flexner in 1910.Types of Alternative MedicineMany Possibilities of Holistic Healing:”There are thousands paths to health, your path leads to your health”Many known types of alternative medicine came from folk wisdom, empirical researches, and experiments – over centuries, every culture has developed different therapeutic practices based on natural and traditional methods. In old days people were closer to nature and used natural healing abilities of herbs, life forces such as water, sun light, music, and the body itself.Unfortunately, they did not have scientific explanation of the nature of treatments and attained a reputation of charlatanic practices. However, today more and more new researches discovered a solid scientific base behind old alternative care health practices. All types of alternative medicine have one common approach – they don’t heal just symptoms, the whole system of the living being is taken into consideration – they restore energy-iformational and physical balance simultaneously. What would work for you? You need to understand principles and main characteristics of different healing modalities, to choose the best option for your particular situation and preferences. There is no universal practice that can cure every illness every time in everyone. You might need to try different types of alternative medicine to find what resonates with you and brings the most benefits to you.Eastern Types of Alternative Medicine:Acupuncture: the most recognisable alternative healing practice in the West thanks to successful and tangible results obtained through a treatment, and results and research of doctors who succeeded in showing the pathways of meridians. Chinese medicine is derived from Tao philosophy and based on the theory of Yin and Yang, five elements, eight principles, which is not quite understood by Western people.Acupressure: a component of traditional Chinese medicine, the form of massage by stimulating particular points of the body. This simple, non-aggressive technique demonstrates significant efficiency in treating a wide range of diseases, though the theory behind it remains controversial from the point of traditional medicine.Ayurvedic Medicine: the complex system based on ancient Vedic texts (Chakras Samhita) inspired by divinity Brahma. It has a holistic approach that focuses on the patient more than the illness, and uses several methods of treatment (detoxication, diet, exercises, etc.)Reiki: the information we have on Reiki dates back to the 18th century and Mikao Usui, a Japanese Christian theologian who dedicated his life to understanding the spiritual healing forces of Christ. This force is called Reiki, which represents the universal energy of life.Naturopathic Types of Alternative Medicine:Naturopathy: this is a modern global health reform movement. It appeared spontaneously and simultaneously in the 19th century in the United States, Central Europe, Scandinavia and Great Britain. It is a fundamental science that includes the study, knowledge, teaching and practice of the laws of life, which keep the human body healthy by using natural means.Homeopathy: natural medicine founded by Samuel Hahnemann. The fundamental principle of homeopathy is that “like cures like” – a remedy that is given to a healthy person will produce the specific symptoms, but when given to a person who already shows these signs, the remedy will cure these same symptoms.Aromatherapy: the use of essential oils for medical purposes. Concentrated aromatic plant extracts have relaxation, soothing, healing affect on the body. The influence of aromas on the state of mind is unquestionable – through inhalation, skin application or digestion of essential oils, the brain gets stimuli that cause to react with feelings.Chromotherapy: known as color therapy, technique that aims to rebalance energies by projecting the colors of body’s chakras. This is based on the intuitive detection of missing frequencies in ill person. This method acts on all levels: physical, mental and psychological. It helps to restore lost harmony.Light Therapy: a method treating illnesses using artificial light. Treatments with a full spectrum of light – from infrared to ultraviolet – have a beneficial therapeutic effect in various diseases.Flower essences: healing flowers are natural products, first introduced by Dr. Bach, based on simple flowers and spring water that restore the individual balance and emotional harmony. By acting on emotions, the elixirs facilitate the regeneration and balancing processes.Phytotherapy (herbs): medical plans have been used for ages, and each culture has its own tradition involving them. Many herbalists believe that the therapeutic effect of the use of the herbs is explained by healing inherent in plants, rather than some chemical components.Apitherapy: the use of various bee products for therapeutic purpose such as honey, bee pollen, propolis.Electromagnetic Therapy: energy type of therapy based on the transmission of electric current or magnetic impulses through tissues for stimulation. These types of energy medicine demonstrate greatest effect from decreasing “energy” and increasing “informational” components of applications.Manipulative Types of Alternative Medicine:Osteopathy: there are two different aspects that lead to two different practices: Structural osteopathy deals with the structural elements of the body such as the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues.Cranial osteopathy is directed at the cephalorachidian liquids contained in the cranium.Philosophy of osteopathy goes far beyond just joint manipulation, bones and muscles adjustments. This is a complete medical care system that assists the body and the person as a unite access self-healing power and higher state of well-being through the body itself. In case of osteopathy the interrelationships of physical, mental, emotional, and higher being starts from physical – stay fit and be healthy.Chiropractic: medicine – has the same origin and philosophy as osteopathy with the difference focusing on the spine healthy state as a primary coordinator of the nervous system. As nervous system is connected to every tissue and organ in the body, the overall optimal health can be boosted with aligning the spine which promotes an optimal nervous system balance and free flow of blood to tissues and organs.Massage: this is probably the oldest and most spontaneous therapeutic action there is. The body is stimulated by using different manipulative techniques (hands, massage tools) and re-establish natural functions. Thanks to Per Henrik Ling, a Swedish gymnast, massage became a therapeutic practice (that’s how we adopted “Swedish massage” term). Don’t miss an opportunity to have regular massage sessions, there is an unexplainable magic in touch – it’s nurturing, healing, pleasant, and hence the word “touching”.Psycho-Educational Types of Alternative Medicine:Spiritual Healing: it simply can be described as transferring energy between the practitioner and the subject. These energies don’t belong to the healer, but come from an external source – invisible and divine.Hypnotherapy: the psychotherapist acts upon subconscious in order to correct and modify behaviour, thought-patterns formed by behaviour. In many cases it helps ease suffering, get rid of distractive programming. Experience of the practitioner is very important when considering a deep hypnotherapy. There are many other techniques that work effectively, yet gentle for erasing distractive programming with the patient remained in full consciousness.Art Therapy: painting, singing, drawing, dance and theatre are powerful forms of self-expression. Today artistic activities are recognised as forms of therapy, especially for the rehabilitation with mental and emotional issues.Holistic Healing with Informational Medicine: a form of new medicine that has come into the stage recently based on scientific concepts that there are more subtle energy field than known electromagnetic fields. Diseases took place in this informational field far before it manifested into the physical. Healing doesn’t depend on time and space, as there is no time and space in the informational field. It’s almost impossible to mention all types of alternative medicine that exist – every culture may have its own forms and types of alternative medicine, healing, practice, and modalities. Some of them are more popular than others – it’s not the question of effectiveness of particular modality – they are all use a unique personalized approach, have many benefits to offer, and many effective remedies that really work. The effectiveness depends on each person responsiveness and resonance to a specific type of alternative medicine.
